William "BIll" Chapman is a travel-nature photographer and author. He lives in the Red Canyon country of southern Utah. Over the past 20 years, much of his time has been spent traveling the world photographing indigenous people, remote landscapes, and exploring diverse cultures; primarily the Himalayan region of Central Asia. He is the author of "The Face of Tibet," a photographic and written account of his travels to "the top of the world" over a five year period. In addition to writing and working as a freelance photogrpaher, he also leads adventure photo expedtions to many of the places he has worked over the years. He will be opening a new photography gallery near his home sometime in 2008.
